Hello from Yamahei Kojima Tea Farm in Shirakawa, Uji, Kyoto! 🌿
Yesterday, we hand-picked our spring Gyokuro variety “Goko” under the warm sunshine 🍃✨
While we were carefully picking the tender new leaves, we made a delightful discovery — a bush warbler’s nest hidden among the tea bushes!Inside were tiny eggs, and everyone in the tea-picking team got excited and gathered around saying, “How cute!” 🐣💕
These little moments remind us how lucky we are to grow tea in harmony with nature. This year’s “Gokou” is looking especially promising — fragrant and full of character.
We can’t wait to share it with you! 🍵
We’ll keep posting about life in the tea fields and our seasonal updates, so stay tuned!
The video was kindly provided by one of our tea pickers — thank you so much, Akai-san! 😆
