Fresh Beginnings: Tea Picking Starts on May 1st!

As the gentle warmth of spring fills the air, we’re happy to announce that our tea-picking season has officially begun for 2025!

We are deeply grateful to welcome the start of this year’s first tea harvest.

At Kojima Tea, we continue our tradition of hand-picking tea leaves—an approach we cherish every year. Unlike machines, hand-picking allows us to carefully select each tender leaf with precision and care. It’s a labor-intensive process, but it lets us pour our hearts into every single leaf.

This year, the weather has been slightly warmer than usual, and the tender new sprouts have grown beautifully. The freshly picked tea leaves release a refreshing, rich aroma that reminds us once again of the magic of this season.

Our first flush tea will take a little more time before it reaches your hands, but we are now working with full dedication on the processing and finishing.

Nature’s blessings and the warmth of human hands—these are what fill every cup of Kojima Tea.
